qns

Okay, I am not sure, if this is the correct community to ask this qns, for it is neither a wcif nor a tech qns.

I was wondering, can you feed a whole town/neighbourhood, with only food and crops farmed by the farmers from town (my playable characters). And if it works, how do we go about doing it? Selling the crops, OFB styled? Thanks.

I don't see why not. The only thing is that fridges are purchased full. Once they empty though you could only refill with caught fish and grown produce. You can find crates for selling them here http://www.simwardrobe.com/

You are welcome. Sounds like an interesting project.

Haha, I was challenging myself to do a neighbourhood challenge, where everyone has to rely on each other for their basic needs (so all of them are unemployed, but have jobs around town, OFB jobs, the richer playables employ the poorer ones), and it feels more like community gameplay, rather than individual gameplay (since I have a short attention span, so playing a big whole group of ppl is better for me)

There are many, many empty fridges at MATY/Peasantry section for exactly this use.
